Architecture is a complex system of communication.
A conventional architect is primarily concerned about the matters of building.
A digital architect explicitly uses his space to investigate, transform and perform to create an immersive, interactive, animated and virtual construction.
By the help of the computer tools it is possible to create a conceptual environment to contemplate objects in cyberspace or in a virtual world. Its possibilities disregard the physical laws and the constraints of Euclidean geometry in a supported virtual reality.
New forms and new places can be created combining time and space with no rational constraints into new dimensions, taking the original concept and developing it deeper into our own creative unconscious to produce something fresh, fluid and spontaneous, an iconic artwork that stimulates the soul and the imagination.
Through the iAA ideograms Analogical Architecture I study and explore the virtual possibilities to create spaces and shapes analyzing and outlining the essence of the project.
Ideogram is a symbol that represents an idea. It is a graphical interpretation of a concept that collects, summarizes and sublimates its meanings.
Analogy offer us a way to look and perceive the familiar representation, it opens up the possibilities to new forms and new thoughts. The analogy translates the reality into affinity signs. It is possible in this way to read, to discover and to find new meanings. Its reality is somehow parallel to another reality but not identical to itself.
Abstraction opens up the possibility of inventions.
